Scouts

We are always looking for Scouts of any age to help keep Price Park beautiful.

Please contact us if you need an Eagle Scout project, or if your Troop, Pack, or Den just wants to do community service. We always appreciate any help! 

Possible Projects

  • Three wooden bridges across ravines – about six-ten feet in length each
  • Privet pulling and/or trash cleanup
  • Erosion control for areas to manage runoff
  • Park benches in multiple locations on north side
  • Picnic tables in multiple locations on north side
  • Small bridges across dry gulches
  • Survey and place Price Park boundary signs along perimeter boundaries
  • Interpretive signs (4) for animals, plants, trees and birds in Price Park
  • Individual signs identifying plants and trees
  • Native flower plantings
  • Online field guide to animals found in Price Park
  • Online field guide to plants and trees found in Price Park
  • GeoCaching system

Recent Recognition

  • Kyle Bennett completed steps from Stilesboro Road down into the park.
  • Bryan Croft, Jr., completed an amphitheater near the parking lot.
  • Dejon Brooks completed three benches at the Big Bend in Allatoona Creek.
  • Xan Rasmusson completed 100 feet of trail through the wet areas to keep your feet dry.
  • Sam Henrie completed 100 feet of trail also through the wet areas.
  • Travis and Trevor Brock completed a new trail from the parking lot to the meadow loop trail, including a bridge over the ditch.
  • Tony Gonzalez built a new kiosk for the park.
  • Leo Gonzalez designed and built a base for our new flagpole and then installed it.
