American Sign Language Walks

University of Alabama student Chloe Black will lead a monthly walk around the park while she discusses and answers questions about American Sign Language.  Chloe is fluent in ASL and will be signing as she talks during the entire walk. This is free and open to all ages and to any skill levels of ASL.  Come and learn something new!  After each walk, she will teach five new signs/words and will review the words she taught at the previous walk.  The dates and times of the ASL Walk will fluctuate each month.  Please check our Calendar or our Facebook Events page to see when the next walk is.

NOTE: During the COVID pandemic, these walks could not be scheduled.  However, Chloe has done livestreamed Facebook posts on Dec. 19, 2020, March 13, 2021, May 15, 2021, and March 19, 2022. These are labeled “Saturday in the Park” on our Facebook Events page. Check them out!
