This has been a record setting year for the Bluebird Trail. More birds hatched and fledged than any year since the Trail started in the spring of 2012. A total of 293 Fledglings!

 

ANNUAL EVENT

THE BIG WEEKEND BIRD 'N BUTTERFLY-A-THON
During this annual event, Price Park is open from dawn until dusk. Members of the Atlanta Audubon Society and Friends of Price Park are present at the park from 7:30am until 2pm to assist participants and visitors, and lend out binoculars and bird/butterfly identification charts.

FOR THE BIRDERS
The Atlanta Audubon Society will soon be leading regularly scheduled birding walks in the park starting in July. The first walk is scheduled for 8am Sunday, July 1st and will be led by Angelia Jenkins, Conservation Director for AAS. Bring your binoculars and wear sturdy shoes, and see how many of the 88 bird species spotted in the park you can see!
